Privacy Policy
Effective August 16, 2026 · Last updated August 16, 2026
This policy explains what information Pack Your Bags Travel Co. collects through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to packyourbagstravelco.com and the vacation request form on this site.
Who we are
Pack Your Bags Travel Co. is an independent travel advisory business operated by Nick Miguez, based in Texas and serving clients across all 50 states. We help you plan and book cruises, all-inclusive resorts, and custom vacations by researching options on your behalf and connecting you with the cruise lines, resorts, and other travel suppliers that actually provide and fulfill your trip. We are not a cruise line, resort, airline, or booking platform ourselves — we act as a travel advisor and booking intermediary.
You can reach us at nicholas.miguez@pack-yourbags.com or (337) 215-3857. Full contact details are at the bottom of this page.
Information we collect
Information you give us
The only place this site collects personal information is the Vacation Request Form on the Contact page. Depending on which fields you fill in, that form may collect:
- Your full name, email address, phone number, and date of birth
- Your city, state, and citizenship
- Your preferred contact method (text, email, phone call, or Facebook)
- Preferred departure and return dates, and how flexible those dates are
- Departure port, cruise line, destination, cruise length, and cabin type preferences
- Number of adults and kids traveling
- Traveler details for anyone else on the trip, if you choose to provide them — the form asks for each traveler's full legal name, date of birth, citizenship, email, phone number, and city & state, since cruise lines and resorts require this information to book
- Budget range and whether it applies per person or to the total trip
- Interests (such as flights, hotels, drink packages, Wi-Fi, excursions, travel protection, transfers, or specialty dining)
- Special occasion details, if any
- Accessibility needs or special requests you choose to share (for example, a wheelchair-accessible cabin or dietary needs)
- Anything else you tell us in the open-ended fields
If you provide information about other travelers — for example, a spouse or children joining your trip — we assume you have their permission (or are their parent or guardian) to share it with us for booking purposes.
Information collected automatically
This site does not run advertising pixels or third-party marketing trackers. It does use two tools that automatically collect basic technical information about visits:
- Hostinger, our web hosting provider, logs standard technical information about visits to this site — such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring page — as part of its built-in hosting analytics and security logging.
- Google Search Console, which reports aggregate data about how this site appears in Google Search results, such as the search terms that led to a click, how often pages appear in results, and indexing status. This reporting is based on Google's own data from search activity, not on any tracking script running on this site.
- A small piece of browser session storage — not a cookie — that remembers whether you dismissed the floating "Request a Quote" button. It lives only in your browser, is never sent to us, and clears automatically when you close the tab.
How we use it
- To respond to your vacation request and build a personalized quote
- To contact you about your request using the method you told us you prefer, as you agree to when you check the consent boxes on the form
- To arrange bookings with the cruise lines, resorts, and other suppliers involved in your trip
- To keep an internal record of requests so we can track and follow up on quotes in the order they were received
- To operate, secure, and troubleshoot this website, and to understand basic traffic patterns (via Hostinger's hosting logs)
- To see how this site performs in Google Search and improve it (via Google Search Console)
We do not use your information for automated email marketing campaigns — we don't currently use any email marketing platform. If that changes, we'll update this policy.
Cookies and tracking
We do not use advertising pixels, cookie-based analytics, or other tracking scripts on this site. Like any website, our hosting provider logs basic technical information when you visit — such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the site that referred you here — as part of standard web server activity. Our host also provides us with aggregate traffic statistics derived from these logs. We do not use any of this information to build advertising profiles or to track you across other websites.
We also use Google Search Console, which reports aggregate data about how this site appears in Google Search results — such as search terms, click-through rates, and indexing status. That reporting is based on Google's own data from search activity, not on any tracking script running on this site.
The fonts on this site (Playfair Display, Great Vibes, and Plus Jakarta Sans) are downloaded from Google Fonts at build time and served directly from our own site, so your browser never connects to Google to load them.
We don't use this data for targeted advertising or sell it, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front today. If we add any advertising technology in the future, we will describe it here and honor applicable opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
- Web3Forms — the service that delivers your form submission to us by email.
- Airtable, via a Cloudflare Worker we operate — we log form submissions to a private Airtable base so we can track and follow up on requests.
- Cloudflare — the infrastructure that runs the Worker described above.
- Hostinger — hosts this website and generates the hosting logs described above.
- Google (Search Console) — provides aggregate Google Search performance reporting for this site, as described above.
- Cruise lines, resorts, and other travel suppliers — once you decide to book, we share the relevant traveler details with the specific suppliers needed to complete your reservation.
- Legal and safety reasons — if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Pack Your Bags Travel Co., our clients, or others.
- Business transfers — if this business is ever sold or transferred, client information may transfer as part of that transaction.
Data retention
We keep vacation request submissions — in our email inbox and in our Airtable records — for as long as reasonably needed to respond to your inquiry, complete any booking, and maintain our business records. We don't have a fixed automatic deletion schedule at this time; if you'd like us to delete your information sooner, contact us and we will do so unless we need to keep it for a legitimate business or legal reason.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information you share with us, including transmitting form submissions over encrypted (HTTPS) connections and restricting access to our Airtable records and export tools. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We do not claim any specific security certification.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, to opt out of marketing communications, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of your information and of targeted advertising. As noted above, we do not sell your information and don't currently run targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front today.
If you are a resident of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, or another state with a comprehensive privacy law, you may have additional rights under that law. To exercise any of these rights, email nicholas.miguez@pack-yourbags.com or call (337) 215-3857. If we deny your request, you may ask us to reconsider by replying to our response or contacting us again with more detail — email or call and we'll take another look.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through this site. The Traveler Details field lets a parent or guardian provide information about a minor child who is joining their trip — that information is submitted by the adult making the request, not collected from the child.
Third-party links
This site links to our Facebook and Instagram pages, and your completed trip may involve cruise line, resort, or other supplier websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of any third-party site you visit, including through links on this site.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
